About

Matthew Emery, founder of Memery Designs, is an artist inspired by the beauty of his home, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Emery’s work is a true expression of the creativity that lives inside of him.

The collection at Memery Designs tells the story of a young man that puts his heart into everything he creates. A graduate of North Bennet Street School located in the North End of Boston, Emery has refined his appreciation for woodworking into a timeless craft.

Always a lover of nature, Emery walked the Appalachian Trail in the summer of 2008, absorbing every detail with no distractions from cellphones, the internet, or television. His genuine concentration is reflected in his work beginning with the choice of grain to the final polish.

In 2003, a near-death, life changing experience occurred during Emery’s tour in Iraq. After time spent in the Marines, Emery takes pride in the value of a true friend and takes every opportunity to try something different.

The Memery Gallery is dappled with photography from his journeys to Greece, Costa Rica, the trails of Appalachia and his dog Chapin named after the local beach.

There is something for everyone from multi laminated bracelets, glass blown ornaments and photographs to fine furniture.  Visitors are always welcome to come in and enjoy a smile and a great story.
